Following from the success of the Poppy Feeder campaign, we are delighted to announce another joint-effort with Gardman to raise money for Marie Curie.
Gardman, the UK’s leading garden product wholesaler, is donating 50p from all sales of their Cast Iron Daffodil Feeder, with the #GarmanDaffodil campaign hoping to see £200,000 raised to help more people living with terminal illnesses.
As with the Poppy Feeder campaign, we are partnering with Gardman by matching their donation, raising the amount donated to £1 per sale. The daffodil feeder is available to purchase for only £4.99 across our eight stores across Wales, our Shrewsbury Store, and online shop: www.charliesdirect.co.uk.
“It is with a great sense of pride and excitement that we are supporting another substantial Gardman initiative for charity. The Daffodil Feeder is already selling well so we thank our customers for getting behind this very worthy cause. It’s also the perfect item for a proud Welsh retailer to be selling this Spring!”
Rebecca Lloyd, Managing Director Designate, Charlies Stores Ltd.
Gavin White, Marketing Director at Gardman Wild Bird Care, said “The striking design of the Gardman Daffodil Bird Feeder is inspired by Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal, and we are proud to have launched such a beautiful and decorative product to not only brighten gardens across the country, but more importantly benefit thousands of families requiring end of life care.”
Each £20 raised will pay for an hour of dedicated nursing for someone living with a terminal illness.
