The Hartman Teak Garden Furniture Protector - 1L is a straightforward way to care for your wooden pieces without overcomplicating things. Designed to protect and preserve rather than darken, this teak protector keeps the original character of the wood intact while helping it stay cleaner for longer.
Unlike traditional oil treatments, this formula is completely oil-free. That means no worrying about dark patches on the timber or stains on clothes and cushions. Instead of deepening the tone, it maintains the natural wood grain and light-brown finish, keeping your furniture looking closer to its freshly cleaned state. In fact, it preserves the colour up to four times longer than a standard teak or hardwood oil treatment.
As a practical teak wood protector, it also offers protection against the effects of the sun, helping to reduce fading through the brighter months. It’s ideal for tables, chairs, benches and loungers that spend their time outdoors, making it a dependable outdoor wood protector for everyday garden use.
Application is simple. Ensure the teak is completely dry before treating, then apply once per year to maintain protection throughout the season. With 1 litre in each bottle, there’s plenty to cover your key pieces as part of your regular teak furniture protector routine.

We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.
If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.
Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:
On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.
With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.
Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.
Returns
We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.
Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.
We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.
Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.

Clean the teak thoroughly using Hartman Teak Cleaner to remove dirt, dust, and stains. If the wood feels rough, light sanding with fine sandpaper is recommended.
Ensure the teak is 100% dry before applying the protector to prevent moisture from being trapped.
Shake the bottle well. Using a soft, lint-free cloth, apply a thin, even layer of the Teak Protector.
Allow the first layer to dry for approximately 4 hours. Apply a second coat if desired for deeper, longer-lasting protection.
Let the furniture dry for 48 hours before using it again.Frequency of Use:
