The jigsaw offers impressive cutting capacity, allowing you to cut up to 135mm in wood, 10mm in steel, and 20mm in aluminium. The variable speed control helps you match cutting speed to the material, improving precision and helping produce cleaner cuts.

To further improve cutting performance, the saw includes three orbital settings, which adjust the blade movement depending on the task. Lower orbital settings are ideal for smoother, cleaner cuts, while higher settings increase cutting speed when working with thicker timber.

The tool-less blade change system allows blades to be replaced quickly without additional tools, making it easy to switch between materials or blade types. The bayonet shank fitting ensures blades are securely held in place for stable cutting performance.

Designed with comfort in mind, the ergonomic rubber handle provides a secure and comfortable grip, helping maintain control during longer cutting sessions. A built-in LED work light illuminates the cutting line, improving visibility when working in darker areas of the workshop or jobsite.

The saw also features bevel cutting capability up to 45° left and right, allowing angled cuts for joinery or detailed woodworking projects. For cleaner working conditions, the tool can be connected to a vacuum extraction system using the supplied dust nozzle, helping reduce dust when cutting indoors.

Makita’s battery protection circuit helps protect the tool and battery from overheating, overloading, and over-discharging, helping extend the lifespan of your equipment. The electronic brake stops the blade quickly once the trigger is released, improving safety and productivity.
