Powered by Makita’s 18V LXT battery platform, this versatile power tool uses a brushless motor that improves efficiency while reducing wear on internal components. This helps extend the lifespan of the tool while maintaining strong and consistent routing performance.
With a high-speed motor delivering up to 30,000rpm, the trimmer produces smooth, clean cuts when shaping edges, trimming laminate, or cutting grooves. The 42mm plunge capacity provides plenty of depth adjustment for different routing applications, allowing greater flexibility when working with timber panels or boards.
Designed for precise control, the trimmer includes a trimmer guide assembly and straight guide, helping you maintain straight, consistent cuts along edges and surfaces. The included 6mm straight bit set and accessory kit make it easier to get started straight away with common routing tasks.
A soft start function allows the motor to reach full speed gradually, helping reduce sudden movement when the tool is switched on. This improves stability and control when beginning a cut, particularly when working on delicate or detailed pieces.

We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.
If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.
Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:
On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.
With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.
Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.
Returns
We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.
Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.
We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.
Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.
