    Keep your horse cool, protected, and happy all summer long with the Shires Tempest Original Fly Combo Rug – a brilliant choice for battling flies while letting air flow freely.

    Made from soft yet durable mesh, this fly rug offers an effective shield against insects without trapping heat. It’s ultra-breathable and lightweight, helping your horse stay comfortable on warm days, whether they’re out grazing or just enjoying a roll in the field. The white fabric also helps prevent sunburn and coat bleaching, giving your horse extra defence against the summer sun.

    The thoughtful design features an ErgoFit neck cover that’s cut in one piece with the main rug to improve comfort across the neck and withers. The neck, spine, and chest areas are all lined to help prevent rubbing, which is especially useful for sensitive horses. A generous belly flap, adjustable on both sides, offers extra coverage to keep midges and flies at bay, while the extended tail flap adds even more protection. Twin buckle chest straps and an adjustable fillet strap help ensure a secure fit without fuss.

    With its combination of smart features and lightweight practicality, this fly rug is ideal for everyday turnout during fly season. It’s built to keep your horse cool, covered, and content all summer.

    We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.

    If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.

    Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:

    On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.

    With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.

    Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.

    Returns

    We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.

    Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.

    We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.

    Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.
