    The Shires Tempest Original Waterproof Combo Fly Rug is a smart choice for tackling wet weather and persistent flies in one go.

    Perfect for warm, unpredictable days, this versatile fly rug features a waterproof 600 denier ripstop top to shield your horse from sudden summer showers, while the breathable mesh sides keep air flowing freely to prevent overheating. Whether you're turning out on a drizzly afternoon or catching the breeze in the field, it’s built to keep your horse comfortable, dry, and fly-free.

    Designed with a clever one-piece ErgoFit neck cover for a smooth, chafe-free fit, the rug also features lined sections along the neck, spine and chest for added comfort. The generous belly flap provides excellent coverage — adjustable on both sides for a secure, custom fit that helps keep bugs at bay.

    The rug also offers 90% UV protection across the top, a deep tail flap for extra shield from the elements, and secure buckle chest fastenings for reliable wear. Finished with a PFC-free durable water repellent coating and ShireTex® fabric technology, it’s built to last and easy to care for.

    Available in a fresh blue and white design, this combo fly rug is made from 100% polyester (excluding fittings), and comes in a range of sizes to suit your horse.

    We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.

    If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.

    Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:

    On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.

    With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.

    Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.

    Returns

    We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.

    Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.

    We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.

    Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.
