    When the weather gets warmer, the Tempest Original Waterproof Fly Rug from Shires is the ideal choice for creating an effective barrier to flies, bugs and dirt whilst ensuring your horse benefits from a refreshing air flow. The ultra-breathable side panels dry quickly and allows free transfer of air to keep your horse cool, aerated and comfortable throughout the spring and summer seasons.

    The fully waterproof turnout rug allows for rainwater to run off the top ripstop section whilst providing ultimate UV protection. With the capacity to block 90% of UV radiation, the Tempest Original Fly Rug helps protect against sunburn and sun bleaching, which is particularly useful for horses that suffer with photosensitisation or pale pigmentation. Quick drying, breathable and featuring adjustable cross surcingles and fillet strap, this quality Shires Fly Rug is the perfect choice when preparing for the changeable summer season.

  • Delivery & Returns

    Delivery

    We are pleased to offer free standard delivery when you spend over £75. If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.

    Some larger or heavier items may still have a delivery charge even if you spend over £75 - don’t worry, we’ll let you know at checkout before you pay.

    Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:

    -On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will call you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.

    -With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will give you a call with all of the details when you order.

    Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.

    Returns

    We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 14 days from the day you bought it to return it.

    Please make sure the item is:

    -Unused and in its original packaging.

    -Includes any tags and labels.

    -Sent back with proof of purchase (your invoice or just a note with your order details on it).

    We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, but we’ll make the process as easy as possible. Just get in touch and we’ll guide you through the simple steps. You can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.

    Once your return reaches our warehouse, we’ll pop your refund through within 14 days, back to your original payment method.
