Stiga Estate 598W Ride-On Lawn Mower
The STIGA Estate 598 W Lawn Tractor allows you to cover large areas quickly and comfortably. Powered by a new STIGA twin-cylinder engine, it provides substantial power to the rear wheels while running at a lower temperature for a longer lifespan. With a 98 cm cutting deck, it ensures efficient and precise cutting.
Equipped with hydrostatic transmission, the Estate 598 W eliminates the need to stop and change gears, offering smooth acceleration and deceleration for easy manoeuvring around obstacles like trees and landscaping.
Designed for comfort, it features an electric blade engagement system and three cutting options: collection, rear discharge, and mulching. The seven adjustable cutting heights (25-80 mm) allow you to adapt to different grass conditions.
To prevent performance loss and corrosion from grass buildup, the mower includes a wash nozzle for easy deck cleaning. Plus, the ergonomic STIGA steering wheel and Classic adjustable high-back seat make for a truly comfortable driving experience.

Your new ride-on lawnmower will arrive safely, fully assembled, tested and filled with the correct oils and fuel, delivered by one of our very own in-house manufacturer approved technical team. Our expert will demonstrate to you how your new ride-on mower works and explain how to safely operate your new machine, only leaving once you are happy and confident with your new purchase.

Delivery & Returns
Delivery
Our standard delivery is free if you spend over £75, however there are a small number of large and heavy products which require a delivery charge, if this is the case you’ll see this in the checkout before you pay.
If you spend under £75 then your standard delivery charge will either be £3.99, £5.99 or sometimes £9.95 depending on the size and weight of your order.
Some of our products will be shipped directly from suppliers and so might have slightly different timescales. If this is the case then it will clearly be indicated in the product information for your awareness. If you have any questions about this please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Returns
We hope that you’ll be happy with what you buy, however if you change your mind then you can return unwanted items within 14 days after purchase.
Items must:
- Be unused and in original condition, with all packaging, tags and labels intact.
- Have proof of purchase, such as a copy of your receipt or order confirmation.
We choose to keep the price of our products as low as possible and as such this unfortunately doesn’t allow for free returns. If you're returning an item because you've changed your mind, please contact us and we'll walk you through the simple returns process. You'll be able to track the parcels journey back to us, so we can process your refund in the quickest possible time. Please make sure that you sufficiently package up your return to prevent any damage as the goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. We are able to arrange for a collection if that is easier for you, just get in touch and we can help with this.
Your refund will be processed within 14 days of reaching our warehouse using the same method that you paid with.

The Mountfield Warranty will NOT cover the following: - Consumable items, e.g. tyres, belts, blade bosses and blades (unless accompanied by evidence, satisfactory to Stiga Ltd., of mechanical failure).
- Second-hand goods,
- Defects which, in the opinion of Stiga, are in any way, or to any extent, attributed to:
-ordinary wear and tear;
-misuse / accidental damage;
-failure to carry out the handling and operating instructions set out in the Owner’s Instruction Manual;
-lack of reasonable care
-the fitting of parts, replacements or extra components which are not supplied or approved by Stiga
-contaminated/stale fuel. - Products currently stored outside of the United Kingdom.
- Periodic maintenance services instructed by the operator’s manual, or service replacement parts which would include oil, filters, batteries, belts, brake linings, cables, fabric grass bags, fuses and other service parts unless it can be proven that the item has evidence of faulty manufacture. These items can fail due to normal wear, or through lack of maintenance.
- Your new purchase should be registered with Mountfield using the warranty card supplied with your machine.
