Designed to combine traditional European skeps with the skilled handmade style of artisans from Bangladesh, this decorative Artisan Natural Bee Skep is a wonderful addition to any outdoor space.
Traditionally used for collecting honeybee swarms, these Fairtrade, artisan bee skeps ensure a water-resistant finish with a tightly woven design to provide warmth and shelter. Made from natural hogla grass and recycled saris, the handmade skeps are finished to a high standard with a unique colour and pattern.
The skeps should be placed close to wildflowers and other pollinating flowers to attract bees whilst providing them with a valuable food source.
Please Note: Each item is handmade from natural and recycled materials, and therefore we cannot guarantee which colour will be used.

We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.
If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.
Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:
On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.
With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.
Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.
Returns
We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.
Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.
We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.
Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.

The skep can be anchored with tent pegs for extra support
It can be helpful to brace the inside of the skep with twigs and sticks to give the bees a starting structure and material to build their nest around.
