    Jamieson Brothers Sarpo Mira Seed Potatoes are a robust maincrop variety, widely respected for their outstanding disease resistance and reliable yields.

    Producing large potatoes with pale flesh and a hearty texture, Sarpo Mira is well suited to boiling, baking, roasting, mashing or chipping, making it a versatile choice for everyday cooking.

    With a growing period of 15–22 weeks, this variety rewards patience with a generous harvest and good storage potential. Particularly well suited to organic or low-intervention growing,

    Sarpo Mira is an excellent option for veg patches and allotments where reliability matters most. A strong choice for self-sufficient growers who want dependable results season after season.

    We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.

    If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.

    Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:

    On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.

    With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.

    Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.

    Returns

    We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.

    Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.

    We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.

    Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.

    Growing Instructions:
    Carefully empty seed potato contents into shallow boxes or trays. Protect from frost and store in a cool area. Two weeks before you plant your potatoes, move them into a light area of around 10°C to produce a strong, thick sprout and make sure they are rose eye upwards. The potatoes will turn green when exposed to the light but do not worry, as this is normal. Your potatoes should be planted in drills that are 28” (70cm) apart in each row. The potatoes should be planted 2-15” (30-37cm) apart from each other in your drills. Always make sure the eyes are facing upwards and planted at a depth of between 4-6″ (10-15cm).
