Designed as the first battery-powered KombiEngine in the Stihl AK System for garden tools, the KMA 80 R is the perfect multi-use tool for use in home gardens. Whether you're pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing or cutting, the 36-volt lithium-ion battery ensures that the tool is powerful enough to complete the task at hand whilst remaining quiet so that you don't disturb your neighbours. This handy tool is compatible with all KombiTools (except the FSB-KM), able to interchange tools with ease as needed - simply insert your desired tool into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place.
The KMA 80 R's new loop-style handle with a quick-mounting system allows you to easily adjust its handle height to ensure an ergonomic working position, this allows you to work more comfortably and easily on slopes, around trees and on uneven terrains. The powerful brushless EC Motor with speed adjustment on the control handle features two different speed settings suited to different tasks, able to be easily adjusted with the single-handed system to ensure that you don't have to adjust your grip or pause your work. Eco mode (level 1) is best suited to simpler maintenance tasks, such as trimming lawn edges, to ensure lower energy consumption and aid in extending the battery life. On the other hand, the full-speed mode (level 2) is suited to tasks that require large amounts of power and extra battery energy, such as clearing leaves. However, the speed adjustment can be infinitely variable depending on the attachment used and the task at hand.
The KMA 80 R is compatible with any of the Stihl AK batteries, however working times will vary depending on battery capacity and the attachment used with it. The Ak 30 battery will provide the longest working time, however, this is the heaviest of the Ak batteries and therefore when using the KombiEngine for long periods of time, such as whilst hedge trimming, a lighter and smaller capacity battery may be preferred.
Please note: The KMA 80 R is supplied with a basic harness as standard. KombiTools are sold separately.

We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.
If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.
Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:
On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.
With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.
Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.
Returns
We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.
Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.
We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.
Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.
