This professional chainsaw features a 41” bar length and includes a .404” Rapid Super chain, an extremely high-performance cutting saw chain. Designed with a broad chisel tooth, great for a low cutting resistance, it is ideal for timber harvesting and demanding forestry work including rip-sawing of big timber, crosscutting, and felling, and it can be fitted to a saw frame if desired.

Stihl design their bars to be low maintenance and help you to keep your chains sharp and working for longer. For example, the guide bar noses are replaceable, with dedicated holes allowing for efficient lubricating of the chain for a cleaner cut. Also, to assure extended durability, the bearings are sealed in the sprocket nose. Finally, the tensioning screw is on the chainsaw’s side through the sprocket case, which removes the need for contact with the sharp saw’s teeth.

HD2 Filter: The HD2 filter is made from polyethylene filter material with up to 70% finer pores than fleece and polyamide filters to trap even very fine dust. In addition, it is oil and water-repellent and thus very easy to clean.
