Powered by Makita’s 18V LXT battery platform, this cordless power tool allows you to work freely without being restricted by power cables. With a temperature range of 150°C to 550°C, it’s well suited for tasks such as paint stripping, heat shrinking, loosening adhesives, bending plastics, and drying materials.
The variable temperature control allows you to adjust the heat output depending on the material you're working with, helping prevent overheating or damage to delicate surfaces. Two airflow settings deliver 70L/min or 110L/min, giving you the flexibility to switch between controlled heating and faster heat distribution when required.
Designed for comfort during longer tasks, the ergonomic soft grip handle provides a secure and comfortable hold, while the lightweight design makes the tool easier to manoeuvre. A lock-on function allows continuous operation without needing to hold the trigger, helping reduce hand fatigue during extended heating tasks.
The built-in LED light helps illuminate darker workspaces, making it easier to see precisely where heat is being applied. For added safety, the anti-restart function prevents accidental start-up after a battery change, while Makita’s battery protection system automatically shuts down the tool if the battery level becomes too low.
This Makita cordless heat gun also comes supplied with a range of useful nozzles for different heating tasks. The glass protection nozzle helps shield delicate surfaces, the wide slot nozzle spreads heat across larger areas, the reflection nozzle concentrates heat around pipes, and the reduction nozzle focuses airflow for more precise applications.
Everything is stored in the durable Makita MAKPAC Type 2 case, which features locking clips, a carry handle, and a stackable design for easy transport and organised storage with other Makita cases.

We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.
If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.
Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:
On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.
With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.
Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.
Returns
We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.
Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.
We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.
Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.
