Product DescriptionReliable Petrol Chainsaw for Home Use
Whether you're chopping logs for winter or tidying up the garden, the STIHL MS 162 petrol chainsaw is a solid, no-fuss choice for everyday cutting jobs. Designed for entry-level users, it blends STIHL's trusted performance with user-friendly features, making it ideal for pruning, small tree felling, or processing firewood at home.
With its STIHL 2-MIX engine, this 12 inch chainsaw delivers a strong output while keeping fuel consumption and emissions low. Robust enough to tackle demanding garden tasks with confidence, the excellent power-to-weight ratio means you'll get the job done faster, without the fatigue.
Effortlessly started up with single-lever operation, the MS 162's Combi Lever with stop function allows a warm machine to be restarted immediately after interruptions, without you having to wait for it to cool down.
A 12" guide bar and narrow-gauge PMM3 chain offer precise, efficient cutting, so it's just right for clean, controlled work on smaller timber and logs. Side-mounted chain tensioning makes adjustments quick and safe, while the anti-vibration system helps reduce strain during longer sessions.
With a transparent oil tank so you can easily check your levels to see when they need a top-up, the included scabbard offers extra protection when storing or transporting your saw.
Whether you're making light work of the log pile, or simply tackling routine jobs around the garden, the MS 162 is a great petrol chainsaw that'll get the job done quickly.
