From Mid Wales to London: A Big Win for the Charlies eCommerce Team
We’re incredibly proud to share some exciting news – the Charlies eCommerce team has been named 'Best In-House eCommerce Team of the Year' at the eCommerce Awards 2026!
Launched in 2007, the eCommerce Awards celebrate excellence in online retail, recognising organisations for their innovation, creativity, passion and commitment. The Best eCommerce Team Award celebrates teams that have consistently demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation and collaboration in driving the success of an eCommerce business.
Our team headed down to London for the awards ceremony last week, where we were incredibly proud to be amongst some fantastic names, including B&Q, Virgin Media O2, Temu and Henry Vacuums.
So, to hear Charlies announced as a winner and bring the award back home to Mid Wales made the night even more special!
A Small Team with a Big Passion for eCommerce
We’re a relatively small team made up of people from the local area who work incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep Charlies.co.uk moving forward. From improving our website and customer experience to bringing new products online, creating content and developing new ideas, there’s a lot that goes into every part of the online journey. Of course, it doesn’t stop once an order is placed – our fantastic warehouse team works hard to pick, pack and dispatch orders, helping to make sure they reach our customers as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Everyone brings something different to the team, and we’re always looking for ways to develop our skills, learn something new and make shopping with Charlies even better for our customers.
Celebrating a Real Team Effort
Winning Best In-House eCommerce Team of the Year is fantastic recognition for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. It’s also something we couldn’t achieve without the support of the wider Charlies team, with so many people across the business playing a part in what we do online.
