The Stihl GTA 40 Cordless Pruner Kit is the ideal tool for professionals working in tree and shrub care, horticulture, and wood processing tasks. It features a 15 cm/6-inch light guide bar and is equipped with a 1/4" PM3 saw chain, designed for precise and efficient cuts.
Weighing just 1.4 kg, the GTA 40 is lightweight and easy to handle, making it suitable for extended use in a variety of settings. With a working time of up to 50 minutes on a single charge, you can confidently tackle your cutting tasks without interruption. The kit includes 2 AS 2 batteries and an AL 5-2 high-speed charger, so you can get started right away and keep your pruner charged and ready for use.
Designed for convenience, the GTA 40 features side-mounted chain tensioning for quick adjustments, a tool-free oil tank for easy refilling, and an LED charge-level indicator to monitor battery status. It also includes a hanging eye and overload ring for added versatility. Please note that while the GTA 40 is suitable for use by all users on the ground, it is only certified for aerial use by trained arborists.

We are pleased to offer FREE standard delivery when you spend over £75. For next day delivery, order before 6pm and select next working day delivery at the checkout.
If your order is under £75, a small delivery charge of £3.99, £5.99 or £9.95 will apply depending on the size and weight of the order.
Big and bulky items may be delivered in a couple of different ways:
On a pallet (kerbside only) - our courier will contact you to organise a day you'll be home for delivery.
With a 2-person delivery service - our friendly team will contact you to book in a delivery day of your choice.
Some items come straight from our suppliers and may take a little longer to arrive. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure it’s clearly shown on the product page.
Returns
We really hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, you’ve got 28 days from the day you bought it to return it.
Please make sure the item is unused and in its original packaging with any tags and labels attached. Please pop a note inside with your name and order details on it so we can locate your order.
We don’t offer free returns as we try to keep our prices as low as possible for everyone, depending on the size of the return we will deduct the cost from your refund. The returns process is really easy, you can post it back yourself or we can help you arrange a collection.
Once your return reaches our warehouse we'll process the refund back to your original payment method.
