    Product Description

Wildlife World Simon King Brushwood Robin Nester

This unique nester has been developed in conjunction with TV's naturalist and wildlife cameraman Simon King, and has been specially designed with every need of Robins in mind to create their ideal nesting habitat. Robins typically prefer a nest with a large opening that they can access easily, but will always prefer a space where the nest is concealed away so that they're not easily discoverable by predators. That's what makes this nest box's design perfect. Whilst it has a large opening which will be attractive to Robins, the nesting space is hidden behind a sidewall and covered by the roof, the ideal conditions that a Robin is looking for!

Lightweight in design, it's surprisingly sturdy thanks to the steel frame and features a wicker base for added support. A rattan landing platform and low dividing wall act as a seperater for the nesting or roosting space. It also couldn't be easier to put up. Robins like to nest where there's a lot of cover and an area with natural vegetation is ideal. Walls with ivy or even hedges are ideal spots but if these are not easily accessible, a shed or outbilding that has 24/7 access is another frequent location where robin nests can be found, where a spare loop of fixing wire makes it easy to attach in seconds.

As well as Robins, you may be lucky enough to welcome other bird species such as wagtails and spotted flycatchers which also prefer this style of nest, transforming your garden or outdoor space into a hive of wildlife activity.
